I am in favor of publisher rights, author rights, and consumer rights. The whole thing is a balancing act. After reading up on it a little I am more than a little concerned about Apple’s new publication setup. Apple’s new content creation setup really only seem to favor Apple. If I were an author wouldn’t want anything I wrote to be tied to one source of publication.

Napoleon Dynamite debuted on FOX tonight
Tonight the Napoleon Dynamite cartoon made a double debut on the FOX. The first episode was just OK. The second episode was very funny. I laughed a lot. On a side note I hate how Fox lets their football presentation interrupt their shows on Sunday.
Google SketchUp: Opinion
If Google wants people to pay for SketchUp, then it needs to improve upon the free version. It is very frustrating to use to say the least.
Wacom Inkling: Opinion
Saw the Wacom Inkling while randomly surfing on the internet today. After seeing that I am pretty sure that device will be mine at some point in the future.
Opinion: The AT&T and T Mobile merger
I know that AT&T is going to fight the decision, but I am thrilled that government is not allowing the AT&T and T Mobile merger. Competition is a very good thing.
Quick thoughts on the Boxee Box
A few weeks ago I was to play with a Boxee Box. I was quite impressed with everything that it offered. I would really like to get one, but I don’t have a use for one.
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes season 1 ending – Opinion/Rant
This morning I watched the season finale of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes live instead of waiting from my DVR. I have to say that the whole thing was bit of a letdown. Disney XD had billed it as an hour and a half special with new all content. When in fact the first hour was two episodes they had already aired. The last half hour was in fact the only new content they had to show. It wasn’t bad way to end the season, but I had just expected more.
The Nintendo Wii U – Opinion/Review
For the past several months there have been a ton of rumors about Nintendo’s next generation console. People speculated when it would be announced, the capabilities of the machine, how it would work, and even the name. For the most part all of the speculation was completely true. All of the speculators were right about Nintendo announcing the system at E3. They got a lot of the specs and how it would right about the machine. However they were completely wrong about the name.
Some websites were thinking that the big N would just go with the name Nintendo for their next console. However the people at Nintendo have chosen to go the name Wii U for their next console. This is a similar strategy that Sony and Microsoft have done in the past, but in my opinion that is one of the worst possible names for a console. Wii U really doesn’t tell you anything about it. I was hoping for something like Wii HD or even Wii 2.
I am hoping that is a success for Nintendo. At this point it has hard to say whether or not the system will succeed, as there have been mixed reactions to it. Surprisingly Nintendo’s stock when down shortly after the Wii U was announced.
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – Opinion/Rant
I really like the Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes series on Disney XD. For the most part I like it. Although I do have one major complaint about way Disney is doing the show. There seems to be no continuity to the way they are telling the stories. They just seem to jump around a lot. I spend a lot of time wondering if I have missed an episode or two. It seems the second has just started, and I am confused now more than ever. I am tempted to just drop it and to wait for it come out on DVD.
Opinion: The Amazon Android appstore
The day the Amazon launched its appstore I downloaded it. After using it some I really that it needs an option to fully exit out the memory. It is a battery drain, and I am really tired of killing it. It all needs an option to not automatically load itself into memory.maa
