Great now Mozilla is considering the removal of the address bar from the Fire Fox gui. Instead of leading the way of new useful features they are following Google. Google will be removing the address bar in their next Chrome update. The whole thing is quite irritating in my opinion. I do not like the idea of web browsers losing address bar at all, as I think it will making surfing very inconvenient. Surprising that the folks at Apple aren’t the first to do this or even consider it.
Cow Honk
So the iPad 2 came out yesterday.
So the iPad 2 came out yesterday. I don’t honestly know how well it all went. The Japanese crisis is going on. I am ashamed to attempt I want one, but I don’t think I can support Apple at the moment.
The iPad 2
Tomorrow we get to hear just how cool the iPad 2 will be. I had thought about getting it, but that isn’t going to happen now. Apple’s new retarded subscription has made sure that they won’t be getting any money from me again.
the Apple subscription debacle
Below this are more a few more links to the Apple subscription debacle. I really don’t have a problem with Apple want to make money. My problem is the way they are doing it. It seems to be a Wal-Mart type approach. Consumers really need to let Apple know what they think about it.
Opinion: Apple has become a jerk of a company
There was a time when Microsoft was the jerk of the IT world. Times have changed and now Apple has become the new Microsoft. So now Apple is the new jerk of the IT world. I really hope the US government and the EU come down on them.
Apple.com goes HTML5
I must say that I am a little disappointed by this. I think it is great they are using HTML5, but it seems they aren’t using standard CSS3. You can only see them in a Webkit browser. In my option the extra little animations are really kind of pointless and a waste of time on the site.
Steve Jobs taking some time off
Hope he gets better. I wouldn’t wish what he went threw on anyone. I expect Apples stock to take a hit.
Microsoft mocks Google
I see both Microsoft and Googles point about WebM. The whole thing is very similar to Apple trying to force people to stop using Flash.
App store for all?
What Microsoft is doing pleases me. Now if only my opinion mattered to someone important.
