My Cintiq 24HD thus far

At this point I haven’t used my Cintiq 24HD all that much as I had expected.  I am having a hard time getting used to it.  This is partly of this is due my layout, the quirks of the Cintiq, and getting used to drawing in Photoshop or Illustrator.  By this point I had hoped to be a pro at it.

Last week I decided that I was going to purchase the PSP Vita.  I wasn’t sure if I need to buy a memory stick for the device, as there wasn’t a lot clear info out there in that regards.  Well now I have my answer, but now I don’t know if I should pre order or wait.  What to do?  What to do?

Adobe is giving a preview of Photoshop CS6.  I am excited to see what they have in store, but I would be happy if Illustrator CS6 performed better.

Back in the day my brother and I used to love to play the crap out of Sierra Online games.  We didn’t play all of the, as we couldn’t afford to.  My favorite series they put out was the Space Quest series.   Every now and then I try to find a way to play them.  It turns out that Infamous Adventures has given me a way to play one of the Space Quest games.  In their infinite wisdom they have chosen to remake Space Quest 2.  I am downloading it now as I write this.

I am in favor of publisher rights, author rights, and consumer rights.  The whole thing is a balancing act.  After reading up on it a little I am more than a little concerned about Apple’s new publication setup.  Apple’s new content creation setup really only seem to favor Apple.  If I were an author wouldn’t want anything I wrote to be tied to one source of publication.

This week some new video of the new Avatar cartoon made its way to net.  The action in the clips looks ok.  I will have to see some more to before I can pass judgement.

Be forewarned about the website Savemore.  The Better Business Bureau has proof to show that they are not a business to be trusted.  Sadly I didn’t know this when I tried to buy one of their discounts.  Thankfully I am getting my money back.

Napoleon Dynamite debuted on FOX tonight

Tonight the Napoleon Dynamite cartoon made a double debut on the FOX.  The first episode was just OK.  The second episode was very funny.  I laughed a lot.  On a side note I hate how Fox lets their football presentation interrupt their shows on Sunday.
