This morning I watched the season finale of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes live instead of waiting from my DVR. I have to say that the whole thing was bit of a letdown. Disney XD had billed it as an hour and a half special with new all content. When in fact the first hour was two episodes they had already aired. The last half hour was in fact the only new content they had to show. It wasn’t bad way to end the season, but I had just expected more.

I still have issues with Apple’s in-app subscription policy
Hulu has decided to give in to Apples retarded in-app subscription policy demands in order to keep their app on the Apple Market place. I fail understand why Apple thinks that it is entitled to any profit from a company like Hulu or Amazon because the said companies have an app on their market place. I am going to make it a point to never purchase anything inside the iOS app itself if at all possible.
The AT&T and T-Mobile merger
It is beginning to sound like the AT&T and T-Mobile merger is going to go through. I am not really happy about it. I know that T-Mobile is in dire straights, but like the completion that come from having four national carriers. Also I don’t like AT&T as they screwed me over more than a few times.
The Nintendo Wii U – Opinion/Review
For the past several months there have been a ton of rumors about Nintendo’s next generation console. People speculated when it would be announced, the capabilities of the machine, how it would work, and even the name. For the most part all of the speculation was completely true. All of the speculators were right about Nintendo announcing the system at E3. They got a lot of the specs and how it would right about the machine. However they were completely wrong about the name.
Some websites were thinking that the big N would just go with the name Nintendo for their next console. However the people at Nintendo have chosen to go the name Wii U for their next console. This is a similar strategy that Sony and Microsoft have done in the past, but in my opinion that is one of the worst possible names for a console. Wii U really doesn’t tell you anything about it. I was hoping for something like Wii HD or even Wii 2.
I am hoping that is a success for Nintendo. At this point it has hard to say whether or not the system will succeed, as there have been mixed reactions to it. Surprisingly Nintendo’s stock when down shortly after the Wii U was announced.
The PS Vita: What are they thinking?
It could just be me, but I think Sony has picked a horrible name for their PSP successor. Apparently they are going to call it the new device the PS Vita. The name they have picked is just really bizarre. I am glad won’t be called the PSP2, but come on.
