A few months ago I purchased a used copy of Modracer Nation for the PS3. I have barely played it. There are several reasons for this. The first reason being it took forever to patch the patch the first time I tried to play it. The second reason is the load times for each level are ridiculous. It easily takes 5 to 6 minutes to load. The load time has prevented me from getting very far into the game. It is kind of sad that the game suffers from these issues as the game is pretty decent. The game is very comparable to Mario Kart.
Shortly after I purchased I had with the game I realized it had an unused code for the game. The code would unlock Sackboy for the game. Thus far I have been unable to redeem it. The publisher has brilliantly concealed the code with funky looking tape. There is no easy way to remove it. I tried to scratch it off, but that didn’t work. I also tried to peal the tape off the paper, but the paper with the code came up with it. I would try to complain to them, but they don’t seem to have a public email address. Even if I could get a working code I wouldn’t be able to enter it. The Playstation Network hack took care of that.
I give the game a 1.5 out of 5.
